Beneath the huge fluorescent lights
Blinding the faith
With the life’s strings in unknown hands
The chaotic uneasiness prevails

Amidst the murmurs’ and the whispers
I hear the pulsating beeps
Listening to my heart I lie
That often missed the beats

Swallowing the bitterness
Offered with the hazy fumes
My eyes close miraculously
As I think of you..

With a sigh of relief
Some faint voices reach my ears
And wake me up
From an unconscious sleep
