The Setting Sun

As the tidal waves crash

against the shore,
a survivor sways with the wind
and prays to the lord..
Standing firm,
it gazes at the setting sun...
The horizon seems distant but clear,
where the sun sets to rise again
with the break of the dawn..

Come,

Be with me
For a while
Till the time
I breathe this breath

In this very moment,
Pure and ecstatic
Words seem to be buried
In eternal oblivion
To seek freedom..

Neither the Sun nor the moon I need
To fill in the empty spaces
'spaces create differences'
Let the rain
Wash away the dust
That has settled on the leaves
In these vacant places

Something stirs within..

 The fleeting passion
With the wind traveled
From over the mountains
To the barren lands

Bits of silver atop the
Lashes moist,
Pinched..
The rainbow bends

Cold misty sight
Fusion of the darkness and light
Hopeful dreams wrapped tight
It rained the whole night..

The wet sunshine diffused
The elixir of creation
On the blessed earth
Blending the green and blue

The flowers and the leaves
The cool breeze
Melodies of the sparrows
All seemed afresh, anew..

The teary eyes

Reflected the shattered dreams

Aching voice

Complimented the vanished smile

Confused thoughts

Rendered bitter sweet pain

A lonely heart

Craved for the home..unbuilt!

Unaccomplished desires

Headed by destiny..

They read and re-read

The unspoken and unheard

And had a lots to say….

Foaming Scintillation

On the chaotic island

Perplexed, I stare,
Standing still,
Trying to weave
My thoughts again.
They had left me
All drenched and
Drained..
And created a vacuum

Burst like bubbles
And fill the void
With myriad hues

As the cooling embers
Reignite..
Restlessness
Appears green to me...
Its freshness
Keeps me alive..

to make new mistakes each time
If only you knew that every passing moment
had a lots in store for you
If only you would have not blamed yourself
for the unavoidable circumstances
If only you would have known that peace lies
on the other side of the coin
If only you understand NOW that you can live
a lifetime in a single moment…
You would stop regretting
and holding on to grudges

In a closet,on the horizon
Where the dreams turn real
I found my treasure
Filled with blissful moments
And immense pleasure

Last night I danced in the rain
As glances dissolved in the raindrops
My soul freed
From the extra burden
Of the weeds..

The weather had been dry here
But I heard It rained there last night..

With my eyes, half closed,
I waited for the dawn
A pearl sparkled in the corner
As the first ray of the rising sun
Touched my lashes

It blessed me with a vision of
A dozen rainbows
And glittering butterflies..
And filled my breathless being
With pulsating sighs....!

In a glass dish
Well placed in a room
Lay some dried flowers
Spreading the fragrance
Borrowed from a bottle of perfume.....

Indeed a crazy morning
It had been!
But insanity is my flavour!
It still rules my mind..
