Let's celebrate life
sowing seeds of happiness.

Compassion #1000Speak

Let’s be compassionate ,

A little towards ourselves first.

And then lend a helping hand,

Wipe off some tears

Spread some smiles.

A moment of relief,

To those in dark,

To those in need,

And make someone’s day

Today.

Let’s be authentic,

Help someone,

Be kind enough

And understand

That the other person

is a human too.

Forgive and forget
some mistakes,

Reach out

with compassion and care,

with genuine smile and kindness.

Before our intentions,

our words reach others.

Our actions imprints

The tales of joys and sorrows

in the sands of time.

Listen,

love and compassion,

heals the frozen hearts.

Insight

2014 image,18th June Road, Panjim, Goa.

"Everything is fine. Nobody is happy."

Every moment has a lot to offer.

Learn and reflect

with open heart and mind.

Some insights lie in the moment, whenever we need them. Wherever we are we have to stay aware, look around, and who knows the walls might start speaking to us.

As I contemplate in this fleeting moment, I wonder, do we give ourselves permission to be happy? We think and think and allow the situation to consume us. Most of the time we live in the past, magnifying our problems instead of living in the moment. Present is perfect! You are not alone. Reflect , rise and shine!

Love birds

Delightful lovers
Reciting the song of love
In silence, within.

Soft light guides them while
strolling through verdant blossoms.
Love- it's simply pure.

purple promises

As I swim in the lake of strong emotions, I listen to the quiet spirit of the tiny healing blooms with trust and faith. An elixir of life, wrapped with purple promises, kissed by sunshine, offers a gift of hope. What choked me once, heals me now.

I set myself free

India Was One - my views

This book took off like a dream in a mysterious way, a bit dramatically author starts to unfold the story of Jai and his wife Kaahi where Jai is in South India and Kaahi in North.

Appreciate all the efforts of the author who has put his heart and soul in this book. Moreover this book gives us an idea of how an Indian feels in U.S.

“You can take an Indian out of India, but you can never take India out of an Indian” ~An Indian.

Detailed description of states and culture, the customs and rituals make us understand a lot more about India and want us to visit the places. I specially liked the chapter on Rajasthan.

The train journey is very well expressed.

This book speaks to every Indian. At some point or the other, we as Indians can relate to the situations handled with care by the author of this book who prefers to be called An Indian.
"The soldiers have refused to fire at their fellow Indians."

Personally, I am not a very big fan of cricket, but the chapters are well penned.

“Nothing like test cricket. It teaches you to be patient.”

This book is full of happy and sad moments but then that is what life is all about! Simple language makes it an easy read. In between, there are dialogues in Hindi that give it more weight.

It’s a story of friendship and of love that goes along with well woven characters.

Author asks a few thought provoking questions towards the end. The book left me with a will to celebrate unity in diversity. Loved the artwork in the book.

The book ends with a beautiful poem.

Some books just happen. Many thanks to “An Indian”, author of “India was One” for sending me his book.
here are various book sites (including India).
