Shelter from the storm

Trying to resist
the winds of change
A part of you
A part of me
struggles..to just be.

..and there we find
shelter from the storm
in nostalgic embrace
of emerald silence
that fills the void
created in the space
between us.

Is it the golden spring
that reflect in eyes,
or a speck of dust
settled on the leaf
blinding the eye
waiting to be washed away?
