Wingless #Day 14

                                                                                                                                                         2014 image, Gurgaon

It’s been ages,

You found me

In that moment

and asked

“ what do you plan to do with your life?”

Like a wingless bird

Almost clueless

Thinking about

the life,

half- lived,

Sitting in my corner,

I fixed my gaze

At the clear blue sky.

I wanted you to know,

I wish to unfold mysteries
 at every step,

Clear the barriers
of boredom,

Create a new day,
everyday,
And breathe!

Today, rain

Washed away the dust

and cleared the haze.
:
I breathe.

My muse # Day 2

                                                                               2014 image

When the world is fast asleep
beneath the cover of sparkling stars,
golden hearts dance
to the zephyr tunes
and bathe in moonlight.

Two is more
than a number
for  poet and poetry
as they become one
reflecting each other

Far the melancholic moon rise.
I shall make it my muse tonight
and encipher poetry
behind the clouds.
Am I thinking too much?

A love letter # Day 20, OctPoWriMo Challenge,2013

Sweetheart..
I am spellbound..
Your loneliness kills me!
Your silvery grace light me up..
Please, allow me to fill your void ,with peace..
Let us create new memories.
Fit me in your frame now..
Oh! My true love..
Sweetheart!

P.S. Played around with the poetry form Rictameter here...I loved the poetry prompt today..Love letter between two inanimate objects and I chose a camera and a photoframe..It was pure fun!

A letter # Day 16,OctPoWriMo Challenge,2013

                                                                                                                        2013 image,Goa

There was a time when we shared
An illusionary world of words,
And lived in that place
With all our heart..

There came a time,
When we shared that place
And thought it was real..

There was a time
When spoken words
Started creating mist
And the world turned hazy..

Then, words that created
A bond and used to fill the void
Had created differences
and started to hurt..

Today is one such day,

When I try to fill the paper
With million  thoughts
That lied dormant
in the crazy corner
Of my heart’s cave..
Making me restless.

 Few creations
 are left abandoned
By the creator
Like some unfinished thoughts,
That lie in the silent corner
Of some forgotten pages
Of the diary.

There was lots to say,
If only I knew,
You were listening..

Tell me,
Why are the colours
Of the rainbow missing?
Or let it be..
Maybe I’m too lost..
Soaked
In the salinity
Of the dark clouds....!

I didn’t wish to leave
A single word unsaid..
Wish I could have
sealed it with love..
As always!

Be Original # Day 3,OctPoWriMo Challenge,2013

                                                                              2013 image,Saharanpur

Every moment is magical..
Each situation has
 Something to offer.
Take it,
Or leave it..

“Be Original!”
You said with grey tones.
 “Ok!”
Thankfully, I took it as
A learning opportunity.

Poetry was eager
To go with the flow..
To feel the feelings
As they were,
To paint emotions
With my madness
On the canvas of mood..

Then..
My journey began
With some baby steps
“Untitled!”
Drinking from “A Cup Of Nectar”
Followed by “A Rendezvous with Myself.”

~~payal~~
P.S. "A Cup Of Nectar" and "A Rendezvous with Myself " were my first steps in the world of poetry.

Missing # Day2 OctPoWriMo Challenge, 2013

Hiding from the present,
Some rhymes were lost
And the rhythm missed
In the midstream..

In the ashes of time
Travelling distant miles,
I wept and wept
And closed my eyes.

Beneath the dark clouds
On a dusky evening
Rhythmic beats
painted my dreams!

Out of the blues
On the bed of river Ganges
 In some floating prayers..
I found them

 Yet again..
Poetry heals the parched soul…
