That has settled on the leaves

With the wind traveled
From over the mountains

Bits of silver atop the
Lashes moist,
Pinched..
The rainbow bends

Cold misty sight
Fusion of the darkness and light
Hopeful dreams wrapped tight
It rained the whole night..

The wet sunshine diffused
The elixir of creation
On the blessed earth
Blending the green and blue

The flowers and the leaves
The cool breeze
Melodies of the sparrows
All seemed afresh, anew..

On the chaotic island

Perplexed, I stare,
Standing still,
Trying to weave

They had left me

And fill the void
With myriad hues

As the cooling embers
