are too sacred..

Silence was mistaken
for not talking

Solitude for isolation..

In between the
meanings
Vacuum got created
and
Oneness dissolved in spaces!

सुनो,कहा था ना मैंने?
सुनो,
ऐसे ही थोड़ी कहती थी मैं
कि तुम नहीं समझोगे!
कितने ख़याल थे
छुपे हुए किसी कोने में,
कुछ अधखिले,
कुछ मुरझाये,
जज़्बातों की तरह।
आज बरसों बाद,
उन्ही ख्यालों को समेटते हुए,
उलझे हुए
इस कहानी के धागे में,
शब्दों को पिरोने
की नाकाम कोशिश
करती हूँ।
एक मुस्कुराती हुई नज़्म
का इंतज़ार है।
उदासी की लकीरों के पीछे
से झांकती नम आँखें
अचानक झंझोर कर
जगा जाती हैं ।
आजकल कुछ बदल गया है,
आजकल कुछ बदल गया है,
मैं ऐसी ही तो थी!
सुनो,
कहा था ना मैंने?
कुछ दबी सी आवाज़ में?
बस इतना ही याद है मुझे!

This season is not favourable
The flowers burn
In the passionate fire
And the acid rains..
a gush of memories flow
as reminders of the lost magic
sweet poison..
penalties of the solid earth
sublime bond
stretched and snapped......
hopeless hopes
an escapist's destiny..
Let's understand
beyond the realms
of the truths and lies,
far beyond
the rights and the wrongs..
That its' life!!
Let's listen to
the language of the birds
and the silent noise of
the heartbeats and
the breathlessness..
In this silence
feel the feeling..
that speaks
through the numbness
behind the closed doors
