A battle is on
Between the brain and the heart
One says life is to move on
And the other always plays its part

The words read time and again
Are embedded on my soul
Though cherishing them bring back the memories
But the heart wishes to read on…..

My mind stops me
As its’ good for someone I care for
But the heart opposes
And asks me to let you know…

If I wouldn’t have told you
Would you have ever come to know
That the time spent in paper and ink
How I still cherish it so?

Your letters have made a place
In my heart and soul
If I try to go in a different direction
Void will exist behind the doors

Clinging to the memories
As the life saviour forever
