Writer’s block! It makes me feel like
a log of wood, helplessly layered with salty water that had turned blue.
I wait for the birds but toads croak and moths breed.
Wind blows hard and it rains. I wait for the birds but toads croak and moths breed.
Water clogs on the streets and I shiver.
I feel dead as if liquid nitrogen had been injected in my veins.
....and then silver streaks flash with thunderous applaud as the pale leaves dance.
I feel like potpourri of fragrant thoughts and memories rush in with the scent of rain. The log turns alive. Green emerges from the roots, yet again, and the blues are forgotten.

DeleteJust discard the phrase " Writer's Block " There is no such thing called writers block in my dictionary.. When I cant write , I keep humming , when I cannot Hum , I keep on dreaming < when I cannot dream I keep on dieing, when I cannot Die I keep on living like The morning sunrise.

DeleteWriter's Block plagues me from time to time. A lot of it is because I don't believe I am a good writer...so my self esteem convinces me I can't. Then I sit down and free write and a story just seems to happen. ♥
