silence

Journey of a rose..
perfect moments of silence..
varied hues of life.
~~payal~~

I had been observing this rose plant since childhood. There is something special about it. The bud is deep orange, slowly as the petals open up it turns yellow, Gradually, it's colour fades and slight pink appears on the corners of the petals. At the end it's all white with pink dots all over.

  5. I love flowers that change colors as the bloom progresses. Some other roses do that, too, and it is beautiful to watch. Very nice haiku. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

your tribute to life and the beauty within and without touches me deeply. i love flowers-their pure willingness to be all they can be, never holding back. if all the world would aspire to a life of such humble generosity. xo

  13. Rose plants are so hard to nourish. I only keep plants with pretty leaves...the story of your rose is touching.

    1. Thanks Damyanti. We have plenty of flowering plants at my parents and at my inlaws place but I can't keep many because we travel quite frequently. :)
