When grief strikes, shivering
with fear, guarded with shadows, nothing feels right, anxiety seeps in
through the darkness, in the deep, dark
crevices of heart and mind, and moving on becomes a struggle,
Then....There comes a shift in consciousness.
With positivity, focus on the strengths, trust your being. Remind
yourself to stay calm, and move on with grace. It is time to accept the things
the way they are. It’s time to change the perception. For being alive in itself
is enough reason for celebration. Remember it's a passing phase, everything falls in place.
Stay strong, be brave, sing and dance.

ReplyDeleteSo nicely expressed, Payal! I wonder though, if every grief can be a passing phase! Just a thought that's crossing my mind.
ReplyDeleteYes, we have to be brave and strong and be positive to overcome the difficulties we face in life. Beautifully expressed words positive and uplifting.
ReplyDeleteOh you're so right, when we're caught in the middle of grief we forget that things change, that they will get better. This is a great reminder that each phase of our life is temporary.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. It might not seem so when we are down and out but eventually everything makes sense.
