Travel light

Mr. Nayak used to repair watches at his home now. During the entire period of his job as a technician of Rolex,he had travelled many places all over the world and had made plenty of money. He had friends from all walks of life.He lived his life joyously sharing his travel stories from that era with everybody he met. Those stories were interestingly adventurous.

At 84,he was so full of life. There was a sad story too about which he didn’t like to talk much. His son was in late thirties, but his mental ability to grasp things was of 14 years old.

"He met with an accident while saving his younger brother when we were in Mumbai. That had affected his brain. We had spent lots of money on his treatment, but..”while talking about it,he always felt uncomfortable.

One evening, he asked his wife to prepare something light for dinner and went to the club with his friends. While playing carom,he felt shortness of breath. His friends made him drink a glass of lemonade but he was restless. He went back home from where he was taken to the hospital where the doctors couldn’t understand his problem.

He was referred to another hospital. On his way,he took his last breath. His body was brought back to his home but he had travelled too far to the other world from where there was no return. He would never come back from the unknown land to share his joys, but his friends still remember his jovial nature and idyllic life.
