He stares blankly.
and I wonder.
Everything that contains nothingness,
Is that nothingness everything?
Everyone called him Babu. We met him on our way to Mahabaleshwar temple and he became our guide. I learnt one thing. It's always good to ask for directions when we have no idea about the place. Guidance is always available. We need to trust and walk in faith.

His eyes speak with such intensity,
I freeze in the moment. He stares blankly.
His piercing gaze
Makes me thinkand I wonder.
Everything that contains nothingness,
Is that nothingness everything?
Everyone called him Babu. We met him on our way to Mahabaleshwar temple and he became our guide. I learnt one thing. It's always good to ask for directions when we have no idea about the place. Guidance is always available. We need to trust and walk in faith.

hey Payal
ReplyDeleteBeautiful poem where you paid tribute to the man. Don't we all go through our struggles in life and connect with humans in this journey?

Thanks Vishal! :) Yes, we do connect with humans and I'm grateful for that. Life teaches us the most.

Hmm...that's thought provoking.
Thanks Vinodini. :)
DeleteGreat reflections, Payal.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what his thoughts were. There are just too many guides in Mahabaleshwar. Life must be hard for them to get work every day.
That's so true Corinne. Life is hard for sure but they have less complaints.
