Coffee # Day 7, OctPoWriMo Challenge,2013.

                                                                                                    2012 image,Goa

Away from home,
A cozy place,
A table for two,
Two cups of coffee,
Sound of the waves,
And some soft music.
Comfortable companionship.
Where everything  is poetry.
:
:
Not much before
That moment
I was waiting for him
Desperately,
Sitting on my window sill.
The weather was gloomy outside,
And the clouds still refused to leave.
:
:
Pardon me !
The pain of my loved ones
Always hit me hard!
And then exclamation marks
Come out of nowhere!
:
:
Everything is not meant to settle in the depths.
Few just float while others get dissolved.
That was science we learnt,
But now it applied to Life!
:
:
The sound of the key
Unlocking door
Just distracted.
And he entered the room..
With a smile on his face.
“Get ready,
Let’s go out
Seems you have a lots
to talk about today.”
“How do you know?”
“I know you! Coffee?”
And he kissed my tears away.
Sometimes,
 Just a few words matter!

Dialogues, Conversation
With sips of coffee..
Aromatic,Redolent..

Butterflies # Day 6,OctPoWriMo Challenge,2013

                                                                                                   2013 image,Goa

Thoughts.
Exquisite.
From where do they come?
These fluorescent butterflies;
Fluttering their broken wings.
Somehow, I feel them.
When I face;
Truth.
:
:
Dreams.
Illusions.
Reality check.
Banging head against the wall.
I already had enough!
Restlessness seeps in.
Dumbfounded.
Pain.
:
:
Hurt.
Nervousness.
Pure insanity.
A moment of grace bestows.
Clearing the blocks from mind.
Like never before.
Butterflies.
Free...

I met a woman...# Day 5, OctPoWriMo Challenge,2013

                                                                                                  2012 image,Udaipur

I met a woman
Who painted the images
With her shadow
In the light.

   I met a woman
Who was a human too
And made mistakes
Like you and me.

I met a woman
Who used to forgive quickly
But was seldom forgiven
When she went wrong.

I met a woman
Who was least bothered
Of what others thought of her.
For she knew herself.

I met a woman
Who opened the doors..
And accepted her world
With a smile.

I met a woman
Who was grateful to God
And kept her loved ones
Before her in her prayers.

I met a woman
Who never forgot
The goodness of others
When they took her for granted.

I met a woman
Who knew that some losses
Were beyond space and time
But had faith in Life.

I met a woman
With pain in her eyes
For she couldn’t
Make everyone happy.

The Sacred # Day 4, OctPoWrimo Challenge 2013

                                                                                                                2013 image,Goa

Bitterness
Takes us nowhere.
Stay calm,
Swim in the sacred stream,
Of Peace and Love,
That flows within.

Let go of fears,
Of ifs, buts, whys and hows;
Rise and Shine!

Evolve!

Nothing is perfect.
Celebrate your being,
Gracefully.

Contemplating on a silent afternoon;
Burning with the fire within;
In the corner of my room;
I closed my eyes gently,
And prayed for a while.
