This too shall pass

When I begin to feel , I am almost there
and form lasting impression,
while walking with a certain belief,
some new situations
crop up and create new patterns.
  I often slip into silence.
and exhaust myself
with faint thoughts
running in the background
lacking clarity.
I remember ,
once I felt  weak
in the tight grip of shadows,
Slowly they consumed me.
There are some days
marked by mood swings.
I sit by myself to figure it out.
A sound keeps ringing in my
head,“This too shall pass.”
Avoiding the extremities
Walking somewhere in between
I hear a call to show up.

Happiness and Sadness,
Strength and weakness,
Good and bad,
they all co-exist.
Accepting myself,
I go with the flow.

Blank pages stare at me,
I fill them with
my silent words.
