It seems I have left my childhood
On the steps of the verandah,
Where we gathered for few words
And played some games.
As kids,playing games
Meant laughter and fun.
Now,It is more about promises
And pitfalls.
We used to play
Hide and seek.
Now, it is endless seeking
The days bygone!
Now , I sit on
those steps
Playing block games
On the gadgets.
Block stacking is a talent,
Challenging to be precise
Against time and instability.
Sometimes
mellow
Sometimes trendy .

What a wonderful comparison of childhood "hide and seek" to seeking as adults! Lovely poem!
